About the role

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Supervisor to oversee and shape our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)—a structured, intensive mental health treatment setting for individuals needing more support than traditional outpatient care, without requiring inpatient hospitalization.

We welcome applications from Master and Doctoral level candidates who meet Washington State licensure requirements. Please see below for minimum qualifications for each level.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead a Multidisciplinary Team: Provide clinical supervision and day-to-day support for licensed/unlicensed therapists, trainees, a case manager, program coordinator, and recreational therapists.

  • Deliver Direct Clinical Care: Maintain a small caseload and provide evidence-based therapy within the PHP setting.

  • Support Growth and Excellence: Oversee clinical training, ensure competency, and guide professional development.

  • Ensure Program Quality: Monitor adherence to clinical best practices, drive quality improvement, and contribute to care model innovation.

  • Collaborate Across Systems: Work closely with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to support continuity of care and organizational alignment.

  • Shape Strategic Direction: Represent the clinical team in departmental planning, performance improvement, and program development initiatives.

  

For Clinical Psychologist candidates:

Required Education and Experience
PhD, PsyD, or Ed.D. in psychology, with specialization in child clinical psychology from an APA-accredited training program.
Completion of an APA-approved internship.
Formal post-doctoral training in an appropriate area of specialization.
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience post licensure.
May work evening & weekends as required.

Required Credentials
Licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Washington.
Prior to start of employment, must obtain, and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for normal probationary periods due to initial appointment.
All medical and allied health professional staff members are provisional for the first year.
Any and all medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children's will terminate automatically upon the termination of the individual's employment at Children's.
Termination of employment does not prohibit the individual from seeking medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Children’s as a non-employee in any category for which the individual qualifies.

For Mental Health Therapist candidates:

Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education Or Masters in counseling.

Five (5) years of post master’s experience, to include: experience in crisis intervention with children/families; multidisciplinary team experience; pediatric experience; experience supervising social work practice.

Paid or internship experience in health care or a clinical setting focusing on children and families.

May work evening & weekends as required.

Mental Health experience.

Required Credentials

This job requires 1 of 4 licenses:

Washington State Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

Washington State Licensed Advanced Social Worker (LASW).

Washington State Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists  (LMFT).

Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC).

Compensation Range for Mental Health Therapist, Supervisor level:

$104,797 - $157,195 per year

Compensation Range for Clinical Psychologist, Supervisor level:

$126,291 - $186,898 per year

10% of base pay stipend

  

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.<
