WHAT YOU WILL DO
The purpose of this position is to serve as the manager of the Technical Advisor (TA) team to ensure that technical support is available to developers in the critical stages of the Oregon Centralized Application (ORCA) funding process to develop new multifamily rental homes, acquire and rehabilitate existing rental units, and preserve existing subsidized multifamily rental housing. This team establishes relationships with OHCS/ARH developers, tracks projects in the pre-closing stages of development, and provides technical advice and consultation about OHCS/ARH programs and production that support developer decision making in the funding and construction. This team works collaboratively with other ARH teams on project issue resolution and communication and provides developer insight in program and process planning and implementation. The team responds and may represent the Division and OHCS with external stakeholders and partners, internal requests, nonprofit, for-profit and governmental entities related to programs, processes and other inquiries. In addition to direct supervising, the TA Manager provides leadership, strategic and collaborative internal and external approaches to advising developers, community organizations, jurisdictions, for successful housing development and management in Oregon’s diverse communities.
