Manager, Program Manager - Cyber Security Testing

As a Program Manager in Cyber's Security Testing organization, you will help manage the newly formed Cyber Frequent Issues Risk Mitigation (C-FIRM) program. C-FIRM identifies and addresses vulnerability trends across the enterprise, partnering closely with Offensive Security and Application Security teams. In this role, you will refine a process to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities and work with partners and stakeholders to implement better detective and preventive measures earlier in the Software Development Lifecycle.
As part of your work, you will build a communication strategy and provide a more comprehensive view of Cyber vulnerability risks across the lines of business, helping drive down risk for the enterprise. You will also be responsible for tracking and maintaining oversight over all C-FIRM work and ensuring initiatives stay on track and are accomplished within the defined timelines.

Responsibilities:
Serve as a program manager for C-FIRM
Build and manage relationships with internal Capital One stakeholders to identify and prioritize known vulnerabilities or issues
Refine and execute processes, reporting, and communication tools
Perform trend analysis and help develop a communication strategy to share analysis with relevant stakeholders (lines of business, leadership, engineering leads, etc)
Use program management and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence to track and assign work
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 4 years of experience working in cybersecurity or information technology
At least 2 years of experience working in Application Security, Vulnerability Management, Offensive Security or a related area
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in information security or cybersecurity
3+ years of experience in data science or data analytics
2+ years of experience with cyber security frameworks
Security+, CISSP, SANS GIAC, CISA, CISM or CCSP certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $193,400 - $220,700 for Manager, Cyber Technical
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
