What we’re looking for 

The Supply Chain Technician is responsible for stocking and maintaining supplies across hospital departments using computer-assisted tools and standard inventory practices to support efficient patient care operations. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department. 

 

How you’ll contribute 

A Supply Chain Technician who excels in this role:

 

• Perform periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.
• Stock units with office and medical supplies; prepare requisitions to maintain par levels.
• Receive shipments, logs receipts, enters data into the inventory system, delivers items to departments or other facilities, and reports/documents errors or damages to management.
• Answer the telephone, receiving dock, and walk-up window professionally; routes calls/messages appropriately.
• Complete clerical/computer tasks that support patient care delivery.
• Process outgoing mail.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma Preferred

• Skills:

  • Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment. 

  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple computer systems. 

  • Effective English communication (read, write, speak, and understand).

  • Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.

              

Schedule: Full Time: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
