About the role
<h2><b>The Opportunity</b></h2>
<p>Location: Barcelona.</p>
<p>Contract: Temporary.</p>
<p>To manage day-to-day compensation and benefits related activities, with the objective to develop competitive and cost-efficient programs that will assist with employee retention and attract top talent.</p><h2><b>What you'll get to do</b></h2>
<ul>
<li>Contribute to the definition, development and implementation of a C&B strategy that contributes to the group’s strategy</li>
<li>Provide research and analytical support in the design and administration of strategic reward programs</li>
<li>Oversee merit and bonus payout process, which entails the computation, calculations, tracking, final approvals, review and payment of these programs in area</li>
<li>Manage local C&B survey participation of international surveys to obtain local and regional market data</li>
<li>Ensure the proper administration of mobility provisions affecting C&B</li>
<li>Educate local Human Resources teams in the spirit of continuous improvement of their C&B responsibilities</li>
<li>Manage on-going audits by regulatory agencies or third-party auditors as needed</li>
<li>Suggest and implement steps / processes, including technological improvements to make the administration of C&B more timely and automatic</li>
<li>Conduct regular competitive C&B market analysis</li>
<li>Complete monthly and annual C&B reporting requirements at regional and corporate levels</li>
<li>Ensure recognition and rewards are managed fairly and consistently in area of responsibility</li>
<li>Be knowledgeable of all government regulations governing the C&B area & ensure compliance with reporting requirements.</li>
<li>Monitor data integrity of various systems</li>

<p><span>Experience</span></p>
<p>Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role, with exposure to core compensation processes (e.g., salary reviews, incentive programs, benchmarking). Direct experience in a compensation department is not required, but a solid understanding of compensation practices from an HRBP perspective is essential</p>
<p><span>Education</span></p>
<p>Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law or similar.</p>
<p><span>Languages</span></p>
<p><br/>Spanish & English Fluent</p>
<p><span>Competencies</span></p>
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of HR systems (HR SAP, Success Factor)</li>
<li>Good knowledge of compensation and benefits packages, policies, and legislations (nice to have)</li>
<li>Excellent conflict resolution skills</li>
<li>Experienced in MS Office, Excel as priority</li>
<li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and management skills</li>
<li>Knowledge of job evaluation methodologies at Hay Group, Mercer or Willis Towers Watson (nice to have)</li>
