The Work You Will Do:

ENVIRONMENTAL ADMINISTRATOR-SES (37021002)

 

Organization:  Springs & Watershed Restoration Program, within the Division of Water Restoration Assistance

 

This position will supervise Springs & Watershed Restoration Program Environmental Specialists and coordinate the activities of the program’s employees to facilitate the development, execution and management of grant agreements for springs restoration and other water quality related projects. This individual will provide technical supervision over the grant managers to assist with grant-related questions and provide guidance on best practices. They will also act as grant manager for selected projects, conduct quality control review of grant agreements, track grant program budgets, and coordinate activities with the Program Administrator.

You will manage grant programs within DEP for a division specifically tasked with improving environmental outcomes in the state. You will manage the program to ensure that selected projects around the State are funded. The position also aids and coordinates with the other program areas of the Division in pursuit of the overall mission to preserve, restore and protect the water quality of Florida.
