General Summary

Provides a wide range of preventive and acute health care services to individuals of all ages. The Physician performs acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures.

What you can expect at your practice:

  • Vascular surgery provider team consist of 5 surgeons and 5 advanced practice providers
  • Directing specialized care for vascular patients, overseeing protocol compliance, orchestrating treatment plans, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Instructing healthcare providers in vascular surgical methods, guiding emerging surgeons, and maintaining cutting-edge expertise. 
  • Advance strategic initiatives to support the growth of Vascular Surgery services within the WellSpan footprint 
  • Work at tertiary care hospital and level 1 trauma center York Hospital

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Boarded in appropriate specialty. Upon Hire Required and
  • Completion of a residency. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Teaching skills.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Good phone skills.
  • Excellent Customer Service.
  • Organized, sets priorities, and able to multi-task.
