Senior Software Verification & Validation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate professional, to join our Industrial Systems & Services Group. The Software Verification Engineer will design test cases and test stations, and verify embedded code developed for modern industrial electronics hardware. In this role you will join the MotoHawk Team, that works on the software solutions for our products: controllers for industrial engines that support marine, transportation, energy or construction industries. WHAT WILL YOU DO:

•Verifying components for MotoHawk model-based development tool using National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand

•Performing requirements capture, test plan creation, verification testing, debugging, and working with module hardware

•Automating test sequences using various tools and approaches

•Creating and executing automated tests per predefined test plans

•Working with electronics design and other software engineers to increase code quality

•Testing on real targets and instrumentation with “Hardware in the Loop” concept

WHAT WILL YOU NEED:

•Master’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related

•More than 4 years of experience in embedded software testing

•Experience using NI LabVIEW and TestStand

•Requirement-based test case development

•Experience with communication protocols and networks like CAN

•Requirements management tools and version control systems

•Using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, DAQ, etc.

•Knowledge of MathWorks tools: MATLAB, Simulink

•ISTQB Foundation Level and NI certificates would be a plus

•Demonstrated ability to communicate well in Polish and English, verbally and through written documentation

•High level of analytical skills and ability to find solutions with limited guidance
