How You'll Make an Impact: 

As a Global Payroll Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring Cloudbeds’ 650+ team members across 40+ countries — including employees and international contractors — are paid accurately, compliantly, and on time. You’ll manage end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state U.S. and Canadian employees while supporting payroll operations across Europe, LATAM and APAC.

You’ll collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and external partners — including our Employer of Record (EOR) provider — to maintain data integrity, ensure compliance, and streamline global payment processes. You’ll also contribute to global payroll implementation and automation initiatives, supporting testing, configuration, and rollout of new Workday features.

Acting as a subject matter expert in Workday Payroll and HRIS processes, you’ll drive efficiency, accuracy, and innovation across Cloudbeds’ payroll operations — helping us deliver a seamless, compliant, and reliable payroll experience for every team member worldwide.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Lead end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state U.S. and Canadian employees, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and on-time execution for all pay cycles.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager of Global Payroll & Benefits to identify improvement opportunities, strengthen internal controls, and implement scalable, compliant solutions that support Cloudbeds’ global growth.
  • Coordinate payroll operations across European and Latin American regions, partnering with Employer of Record (EOR) providers and local payroll vendors to facilitate the transition to a unified global payroll platform.
  • Prepare payroll reconciliations and journal entries each cycle to ensure accurate recording of wages, taxes, and benefit deductions, with full reconciliation completed each pay period.
  • Assist in accurate tracking of payroll-related data, including PTO balances, benefit premiums, 401(k) deferrals, and company match calculations. Additionally, assist in reconciling 401(k), HSA, and FSA remittances, mandated taxes, and other related tasks.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll records, including timekeeping data, deductions, garnishments, benefits, and tax filings, maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
  • Support global payroll transformation and automation initiatives, including data validation, system testing, and deployment of new Workday Payroll functionality.
  • Serve as a payroll subject matter expert, delivering clear, responsive guidance and support to team members across all global locations.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and standardization efforts to enhance payroll accuracy, ensure compliance, and elevate the employee experience.

What Sets You Up for Success:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in payroll operations.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive payroll experience, with demonstrated expertise in U.S. multi-state and Canad
