Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Director of Finance on all Eurofins Discovery FP&A activities including Budgeting, Forecasting, Planning, Reporting, and Analysis
  • Support high visibility deliverables to key senior leaders including month end reporting, forecasting, annual budgeting, revenue analysis, and profitability analysis
  • Perform financial and non-financial analysis designed to monitor and identify trends in the Company’s operational performance, expense performance, working capital, cash, etc.
  • Communicate trends to management as appropriate in a timely and concise manner
  • Owner of Revenue Forecast, Budget planning, and Long Range Financial Plan modelling; includes working closely with the Senior Leaders across multiple business and organizations both domestically and globally.
  • Coordinates with cross-functional team members on various tasks
  • Owner of Monthly and Quarterly Business reporting packages
  • Lead preparation of the annual financial budget, working together with senior leadership and corporate finance
  • Lead FP&A team in tracking and monitoring business performance; including but not limited to monthly variance analysis, understanding key drivers of performance; propose and implement plans to improve financials and KPI metrics
  • Prepare and design various ad hoc reports and analysis as requested
  • Assist with financial modeling/projections for strategic initiatives
  • Ensures adherence to Eurofins financial policies, rules and regulations
  • Maintains a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to take initiative, collaborate and lead
  • Excellent communication (written / verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively influence internal/external stakeholders
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • This role has the potential to grow into a leadership role with 2-3 direct reports

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications: 

  • BS in accounting or finance and 4 years’ minimumexperience
  • 3 Years’ minimum experience in financial analysis / budgeting required
  • Extensive financial model experience
  • Expert level working knowledge in excel
  • Working know
