Sandblaster

Description

Abrades surfaces of metal or hard-composition objects and areas to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, and to impart specified finish, using abrasive-blasting equipment: Inspects and sets up hoses and equipment. Shovels or pours abrasives, for example sand, grit, or shot of specified grade into machine hopper. Turns valves on equipment to regulate pressure and composition of abrasive mixture flowing through nozzle . Manually directs nozzle over surface of large areas. Checks equipment for proper levels and damage. Inspects finished areas to ensure conformance to specifications.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol and background screening.

• Able to follow all applicable safety rules and procedures
• Must be able to work various hours and travel out of town
