West MonroeAbout the role
Are you ready to make an impact?
West Monroe is seeking a Manager (Change Management) with current business and technology consulting experience to join our Organization, People, and Change (OPC) practice. West Monroe’s Organization, People, and Change practice accelerates value and business outcomes of transformations, transactions and implementations – through people, HR, and change strategies.
For this opening, we are looking for someone with a proven track record leading client engagements across our change management offerings, but each consultant within our OPC practice drives value across both our human capital and change management service areas:
Change Management:
- OCM Strategy & Execution: We offer comprehensive change management services, from strategy development to execution, ensuring effective transformation by maximizing value, minimizing risk, and driving engagement and adoption.
- Change Capability Advisory & Development: We partner with organizations to build change capabilities using proven methods, best practices, and thought leadership to tailor solutions based on their unique starting point – whether they have an established change management function or are just beginning.
- Skilling & Human Performance: We empower business leaders to create more value, achieve transformation goals, and build a future-ready workforce by improving performance through people and their skills.
Human Capital:
- Org Design & Talent: We achieve measurable business results by using digital tools, analytics, and benchmarks to improve organizational structures, culture, and talent strategies
- Transactions: We advise on people issues and HR functions at every stage of the deal life cycle, including planning and execution support for ongoing and future critical business activities.
- HR Solutions: We help HR leaders prepare their organizations for the future by transforming the HR operating model to free up time and resources to focus on mission-critical work that adds value to the business through people, processes, and technology.
What you’ll do:
- Serve as a delivery leader on engagements of low-to-moderate complexity and scale, communicating with client sponsors directly without oversight, and exemplifying engagement management, client relationship, client satisfaction, risk management, and delivery team management skills.
- Oversee engagement scope, budget, deliverables, profitability, work management and reporting, change management, vendor management, and team development.
- Achieve business development goals primarily through building networks with internal partners, educating channel partners on Org & People offerings, farming opportunities, and scoping projects/proposals.
- Originate and create methodologies, project assets and tools, and ensure maintenance of those assets. Support direction and strategy for functional, industry, or technology methodologies, quality assurance, and toolsets used within the practice.
- Author white papers and deliver presentations (internal and external) on innovations, best practices, and methodologies. Gain visibility and build West Monroe brand through interviews, writing articles, and/or providing quotes for trade journals.
- Model and mentor Consultants and Senior Consultants day-to-day in personifying West Monroe values with clients, on project teams, and within individual relationships.
- Career Advisor for at least one Consultant – actively participating in the performance expectation and management process.
- Actively engage in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting campus and experienced new hire consultants.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5+ years of relevant human capital and change management experience, working directly with clients to identify and document organizational impacts of change initiatives such as vision/value definition, communication, leadership engagement, organization alignment and change sustainability.
- 2+ years of consulting, client servicing and/or advisory experience.
- At least 1 year of people management experience.
- Expert project manager with extensive experience managing multiple projects including developing work plans, project scopes, pricing estimates, budget management, issue and risk management, and presenting deliverables.
- Organizational change management subject matter expertise and knowledge of curriculum
