Custodian – Level 1

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and stay focused on tasks.

• Tolerance to all kinds of cleaning solvents
• Self-motivated to get assigned work completed.
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Vacuum all administrative offices.
• Sweep and mop floors in high traffic areas.
• Wipe down breakroom tables, mop floors in breakroom areas and clean refrigerators and microwaves as needed.
• Clean bathrooms:  scrub toilets, urinals, bathroom sinks, mirrors
• Clean windows throughout the plant and offices inside and outside
• Empty multiple dirty rag hampers throughout the plant
• Gather and empty all trash in offices and plant and transport to outside dumpster.
• Snow and ice removal during winter months
• Yard maintenance duties:  weeding flower beds, and various yard tasks, etc.
• Assist cafeteria personnel in receiving food shipments.
• Moving large boxes to storage
• Complete management and employee requests in a timely manner

Physical Requirements:

• 100% Standing
• Consistently lifting 100 lbs.+
• Pushing and pulling 100 lbs.+
• Kneeling, bending, and climbing as needed to get the jobs done.
