Overview

Corporate Bank Technology has embarked on a multi-year technology refresh program that includes revitalization of "Channel" applications for payment initiation. The platform provides Corporate and Institutional banking services to Deutsche Bank’s clients over the internet. You will be working on enhancing applications that follow layered architecture pattern using JAVA EE architecture with an Oracle backend. With your engagement – the application team will strive to meet various global and country specific regulatory and market driven requirements for payment initiation and account reporting modules. The result of your work will be directly influencing key profitability metrics of the Bank and you will contribute towards applications that perform operational monitoring to run our business across the globe.

What You’ll Do

  • Work as part of a cross-functional or feature development team, closely collaborating with development teams to understand requirements, ensure testability, design test solutions, implement and support them

  • Design and develop test execution plans with test approach and scenarios for product enhancements testing

  • Take part in multiple phases of testing (E2E/Regression/System Integration/User Acceptance Testing) focused on Test Automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment

  • Work within an agile development lifecycle focusing on business outcomes, contributing to Quality Production Releases

  • Contribute to the wider engineering community sharing and reusing designs, ideas, and test solutions

Skills You’ll Need

  • Capability in drafting test cases, producing and understanding traceability matrix, and to collate metrics ,Key Performance Indicators (KPI) information for reporting purposes

  • Understanding of testing frameworks, familiarity working with Unix and Windows platforms, Experience on Agile software development frameworks and processes

  • Familiarity with user interface/user experience (UX/UI) methodology

  • Strong hands-on experience in writing complex Structured Query Language (SQL) queries

  • Knowledge with continuous integration/continuous deployment or development (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins and Automation experience with Test Driven Development and/or Behavior-Driven Development using Cucumber
