About our Internship Program:
The Summer Internship Program is a unique and challenging 10-week experience for diverse, talented, high-performing individuals interested in different aspects of the financial and technology industry. Contingent upon business needs, performance and completion of degree, our internship serves as a pipeline to our full-time early-career program EDGE.

- A flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
The impact you will have in this role:
Being a member of the Data Protection and Technology Services team, the Data Protection & Technology Intern will support the efforts of the team to ensure DTCC's adherence to regulatory and legal data protection and privacy requirements, supporting all lines of businesses and across all functional areas of DTCC and its companies globally.Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Review global data privacy laws and regulatory requirements that apply to DTCC and its companies and assist in the review of changes to applicable laws and regulations and interpretation of impact to DTCC and its companies.
- Assist with DTCC’s annual privacy inventory of data and processing activities.
- Assist with the management of inquiries received in the privacy mailbox, direct or respond as needed.
- Assist with privacy vendor evaluations to assess regulatory and privacy risks and practices associated with the onboarding of third parties.
- Assist with privacy training and awareness program.
- Keep current on evolving technologies (e.g., AI) and the associated risks and impact to data protection.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Support other daily program elements as needed.

Qualifications:
- Candidates must be working towards a bachelor’s degree in one following areas: Privacy & Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Political Science, Economics, Law, or any other relevant field
- Prior experience in audit, information security, risk management, legal and compliance is a plus
- Candidates must be a student in their junior year or incoming final year of university (graduating by Spring or Summer 2027)
- Open to candidates applying for either voluntary or required internships as part of their academic program
- Candidates must have good academic standing
