Gavin Stewart, Director, Service Operations</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>What you will do</b></p><p></p><p>As Senior IT Architect specializing in databases, you will have end-to-end architectural responsibility for database platforms, ensuring the alignment of database technology solutions with business processes. You will develop and design database services, optimize service operations and improve usability throughout the database service lifecycle. You will also lead external BUILD development, ensuring smooth handovers to production and acting as a key stakeholder for service and product Owners in the UPM database domain area.</p><p></p><p>Related to IT database platforms, you will be accountable for database platform services within UPM IT Business Services, taking full responsibility for database platform architecture and roadmaps. You will develop and design database platform services, support database service transition, and drive improvements. Additionally, you will lead external platform development efforts, ensuring alignment with business application requirements and database strategies.</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Who you are</b></p><p></p><p>This role suits an experienced professional with extensive database experience, solid coordination skills, and a collaborative mindset.
