THE JOB:

The primary responsibility of the Bus Person is to maintain the entire restaurant, including the dining room, storerooms, food pick up area, and beverage station according to established cleanliness and stock standards.

 
THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Clearing and Cleaning Tables

• Remove used dishes, glasses, utensils, and trash after guests finish eating.
• Wipe down and sanitize tables, chairs, and surrounding areas.

Resetting Tables

• Replace table settings, such as napkins, utensils, and glassware.
• Ensure tables are prepared for the next guests in a timely manner.

Assisting Servers

• Deliver food and beverages to tables when necessary.
• Refill water glasses and provide other minor assistance to guests.

Maintaining Dining Area

• Sweep or vacuum the dining area as needed.
• Restock items such as napkins, condiments, and tableware.

Supporting the Back of House

• Transport dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils to the kitchen or dishwashing area.
• Assist with organizing and cleaning in the kitchen or dish station.

Guest Interaction

• Occasionally assist guests directly by answering simple questions or fulfilling requests.
• Provide polite and efficient service to enhance the dining experience.

Adhering to Health and Safety Standards

• Follow proper hygiene and sanitation procedures.
• Handle dishware and cleaning products safely.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 1 year of prior experience or relevant experience
• Work varied shifts, to included weekends and holidays

Pay Rate

The typical pay for this role is:

$18.75

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
