Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.

  • The Integrated Solutions Modeling and Architecture (ISMA) directorate is composed of an energetic multi-disciplinary team of over 300 engineers working collaboratively with internal and external customers and programs to provide mission level modeling & simulation of sensing & effects capabilities from seabed to space, multi-level operation analysis, integrated system of system architectures and operations research.

  • We are in the front end of the business pushing the boundaries of innovation and creativity to establish next-generation mission solutions from system-level up to campaign-level.

What You Will Do

  • As an Sr. Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Engineer, you will be part of a diverse team of systems engineers dedicated to delivering best-in-class Raytheon products for the warfighter through modeling, simulation, and analysis.

  • Your work will help demonstrate mission effectiveness of systems and system-of-systems operating in complex threat environments.

  • On this team, you will be responsible for developing mission simulations, virtual prototypes, and system emulators that represent a variety of mission technologies including sensors, effectors, communications, command and control, and more.

  • This will include integrating live-virtual-constructive (LVC) simulations with other simulations, custom software, commercial-off-the-shelf software (COTS), government furnished models, hardware, and user interfaces.

  • Developing and integrating new capabilities into existing simulation models.

  • Running our simulation environments and generating analysis data for evaluation.

  • Working with a team lead to document design approaches and implement them.

  • Working with a team lead to define and execute analysis plans.

  • Participating in technical reviews with internal and external customers.

What You Will Learn

  • In this organization you will be exposed to a variety of mission systems development efforts under the supervision and guidance of subject matter experts.  You will learn how to apply LVC concepts to develop and test mission systems under real world conditions.

  • You will also see how modeling and simulation is applied across the analysis pyramid to best inform our programs and identify innovative integrated solutions along the way.
