Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Main Campus Opportunity
The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Anesthesiology, is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for busy academic medical center. Both newly trained and experienced CRNAs are welcome to apply. Enjoy a friendly and collaborative culture with mentorship for new graduates, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
Offering a new graduate stipend of up to $25,000 to SRNAs with early commitment, and a $20,000 signing bonus to experienced CRNAs. Shadowing opportunities are available.
Successful completion of nursing anesthesia program, certification, and eligibility for licensure in the State of Kansas are required.

CRNAs are integrated members of the anesthesia care team comprised of more than 120 CRNAs, 65 anesthesiologists, residents and anesthesia technicians
Broad caseload in multiple surgical specialties - transplant, trauma, ortho, ENT, neurosurgery, OB and hearts; sub-specialty interests welcome
CRNAs perform a full range of procedures
Flexible scheduling available for full and part-time positions, with set day off
8, 10, 12-hour shifts with 12-20 scheduled shifts per month
Ability to move between OR settings, including ASCs
Established night-team provides majority of call coverage
Additional compensation for call; averaging ~12/year, with pre and post call day off
