Summary
The Manager Analytics Portfolio Delivery will partner with IT and business to support the continued growth and success of the enterprise in a robust and cohesive team. To be successful, the candidate will need to demonstrate both business acumen and technological insight around project and program delivery to execute our global data strategy. The position works closely with the Enterprise PMO team and with the various other teams within IT and the Business.
Reporting within the Data & Analytics team, the role will be responsible for championing and aligning all of the D&A resources to a hybrid standard agile/scrum delivery model for projects, managing purchasing and budget processes for the team and driving standards for the quality assurance function within the Analytics team. The right candidate will have a PM/Scrum/BA background and be able to seamlessly work across departments and work in highly matrix/agile project teams. The position reports directly to the Head of Global Data & Analytics.
Responsibilities
- Manages the D&A strategic portfolio, ensuring the collation of information on project delivery for Senior management.
- Works across D&A functional Pods to understand and improve delivery in a Center of Enablement consultative role.
- Ensures visibility to delivery outcomes and tracks value realization for D&A Senior Leadership.
- Assist in driving the health of the Analytics portfolio by highlighting known or potential interdependencies with prioritization of resources and alignment on needs to enable fast and efficient delivery.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Scrum Masters within/outside the D&A team on multiple end-to-end delivery-focused projects simultaneously with little day-to-day oversight
- Develop & maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within D&A and the Enterprise PMO to ensure alignment across the organization.
- Support the Budget planning and tracking processes for the D&A department, working with D&A leadership to monitor and adjust throughout the year, as required.
- Determine appropriate project management tooling and drive best practices and standards across those processes/tools, including a standard intake process for all requests.
- Drive best practices and standards around quality assurance of the enterprise data warehouse deployments including both code and data quality testing requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field.
- 10+ years’ experience working in Program/Project management in fast-paced enterprise scale environment.
- Experience with agile/scrum/waterfall style project management techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues from geographically distributed teams on all organizational levels.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent quality assurance understanding and focus.
- Experience working in fast paced teams, with frequent interactions with senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail oriented with proven ability to grasp the organization's/department’s strategic vision.
- Ability to balance incoming requests across multiple initiatives and priorities.
- Strong knowledge visual analytics platforms (Tableau preferred but not required).
