COO/Global Head of Operations (Munich/onsite)

The Role:

As the COO of our company, you will be at the forefront of crafting and maintaining a world-class global logistics network, facilitating customer care, and orchestrating a multinational operations team. You are an integral part of shaping and executing the strategy that will propel us to ascend as a global leader in our industry. We are backed by Europe’s leading VCs, having just raised a substantial Series A.

Key Responsibilities:

• Your task is to create a diverse network of logistics partners, service centers, service points, and brand collaborations that will spark excitement among our customers on a global scale.
• Lead the design and execution of a global logistics and operations strategy.
• Manage the end-to-end logistics process, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction on a global scale.
• Develop a worldwide network of service partners for inspections and verifications.
• Innovate and implement operational best practices to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Cultivate an unparalleled customer care organization that operates in multiple languages and spans various time zones, setting the gold standard for excellence in customer support.
• Lead the charge in optimizing operational systems, processes, and controls for global scalability.
• Drive the development of operational systems, processes, and controls to support our company’s growth.

Requirements:

• Between 8-10 years' experience in operations or logistics, with a focus on building global supply chains.
• Startup - scale up experience is a MUST to be considered for this role
• Strong background in operational strategy within a rapidly scaling startup environment.
• Extensive expertise in managing international operations and cross-cultural teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead operations across multiple countries and cultures in hyper-scaling organizations.
• Solid understanding of international shipping regulations, customs processes, and import/export challenges.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills, capable of managing complex projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Superior problem-solving skills with a focus on strategic development and planning.
• Strategic thinker with an analytical approach, using data to drive operational improvements.
• An MBA/management degree from a reputable university.
