Plant Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Support accurate reporting of production costs, budgets, forecasts, materials, and labor
• Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of plant and departmental KPIs
• Help maintain cycle count processes and investigate inventory variances
• Participate in the annual inventory count and reconciliation process
• Monitor actual vs. standard costs and report key variances to the Plant Controller
• Collaborate with operations to provide financial data that supports continuous improvement
• Review shop order data and help track performance against manufacturing standards
• Assist with maintaining and updating standard manufacturing data (e.g., run rates, labor inputs)
• Support the documentation and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures
• Contribute to the preparation of the plant overhead budget
• Liaise with payroll and HR to ensure employee data is coded correctly in the payroll system
• Partner with plant management and corporate finance to support monthly financial reviews and budgeting activities

This opportunity will pay between $85,000 - $95,000 with a 10% completion bonus and will be on-site in our Sussex WI facility.
