The Senior Vice President of Global Site Solutions (GSS) is responsible for business oversight and executive leadership for the department. This role is responsible for developing, leading, and implementing strategic plans and growth opportunities for the department, both as a standalone service and as part of an integrated strategy. The Senior Vice President will set strategic goals and objectives, develop execution plans, and monitor performance. The incumbent will work closely with the President, CTX, as well as other leaders within the business and across the Spectrum Science enterprise. In addition to leading the department, they will also be a member of the CTX Executive Leadership Team (ELT) with responsibilities for driving business-wide growth and strategy.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrategy and Leadership
- Set and lead the vision, strategy, and culture for GSS
- Prioritize initiatives and strategies that result in durable, mutually beneficial site partnerships and delivering an exceptional patient experience
- Oversee strategic planning, growth, and alignment of GSS with broader organizational goals.
- Manage operational budgets and ensure execution of key initiatives across departments.
- Identify service expansion opportunities through market analysis and strategic planning.
- Represent GSS at industry events to build visibility and strengthen relationships.
- Collaborate with Business Development and Client Service to grow client relationships and support proposal efforts.
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships that support innovation, service growth, and revenue generation.
- Lead cross functional execution of initiatives and ensure alignment across teams.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to evaluate service quality and identify improvement areas.
- Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions to ensure consistent operations.
- Communicate program goals, updates, and timelines to internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on patient recruitment and site engagement.
- Share insights and best practices with clients; participate in key meetings and bid defenses.
- Drive internal and external thought leadership to increase visibility and demand for services.
- Provide strategic direction and day to day leadership for GSS team.
- Oversee performance management, staffing, and hiring for the department.
- Mentor team members and support professional development and growth.
- Champion cross functional initiatives that foster a culture of integrity, ownership, and innovation.
- Stay current on industry trends to inform strategic decisions and inspire continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Recent (last four years) experience working at a clinical research site and can demonstrate fluency and empathy for the roles clinical research staff play in patient recruitment, as well as the challenges they face (e.g. resourcing, technology, operations, business, etc.)
- 10+ years of experience working directly with sites, physicians, and/or patients in a healthcare, community and/or clinical trials setting
- Experience in a leadership or management rol
