$37.93 - $49.31The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:
The Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. The Level II Registered Nurse contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. The Level II Registered Nurse supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.Schedule FT position available, D/E, primarily weekdays with occasional weekend/holiday requirement per service needs. 8/9/10/12 hour shifts available, self-scheduling W/E contract available Responsibilities Discover the perioperative flex team's benefits by joining a specialty group of engaging, versatile and highly- trained nurses. The ideal candidate is a dynamic nurse that is flexible and independent while remaining team-oriented. Nurses will take assignments in various areas within the perioperative service which include the Strong Surgical Center (SSC), the second-floor surgical center, PACU (post anesthesia care unit) as well as supporting the Neurovascular OR Team with moderate sedation and circulating. This unique position requires strong assessment, critical thinking and organizational skills. A willingness to work in varied settings and flexibility to changing needs of the assignment within a shift are essential. ACLS/PALS required within one year. Qualifications Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience.
