The role:
Join our team as the maintenance services coordinator where you will provide critical research and evaluation of state and federal laws and regulations related to highway maintenance and operations and develop statewide rules, policies and procedures for implementation with ODOT. You will also manage several statewide programs such the snowmobile program, Sno-Park program and more. Apply today!

A day in the life:
Review and analyze legislation and legislative proposals and identify the impact for highway maintenance and operations programs, policies and practices.
Propose, develop and implement legislation for our maintenance programs and practices.
Develop and implement policy, procedures and administrative rules for maintenance and operations business lines.
Prepare agreements associated with Maintenance and Operations Branch programs and practices (both agency to agency and to nonprofit entities).
Research federal/state laws, rules and regulations that affect highway maintenance and operations programs and policies.
Manage programs, budget and agreements for statewide programs such as the Sno-Park program, the snowmobile program and Youth Litter Patrol.
Provide advice and guidance, develop guidelines, tools and procedures as needed to assist our programs.
Develop processes for systematic organizational improvement in maintenance programs.
This role involves working within an office setting, which includes extended periods of being in a stationary position and performing repetitive movements/tasks.
Hybrid work options available up to 2-3 days per week.
