Description
The Program in Biophysics at the University of Michigan is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Biophysics, set to start January 1, 2026. This is a university-year appointment.Our Biophysics program is renowned for its broad and interdisciplinary approach, incorporating the principles of physics and chemistry to elucidate life processes while managing dynamic graduate and undergraduate degree offerings. We seek candidates with diverse expertise in biophysics who are dedicated to enhancing our research and educational objectives. Qualifications
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in biophysics or a related field such as chemistry, biological chemistry, physics, or a similar field. It is open to candidates at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels, with strong encouragement for applications at the Assistant Professor level.
