Machine Operator II 2nd Shift

We are looking for self-motivated and safety-conscious candidates who would like to join our production team in our Buckeye, AZ location!

New employees can earn 60K in total compensation when working at Canam Steel Corp for a 40-50 hour work week. This includes the base rate, shift differential, overtime, retention and production bonuses. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
● Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures.
● Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications.
● Operate overhead cranes for efficient material handling.
● Operate a variety of machinery, including but not limited to, bridging machines, saws, channel
shears, angle shears, crimpers, and end bar benders.
● Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment as required.
● Maintain a clean and organized work area.
● Adhere to safety protocols.
● Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
● Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or
flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to perform all job functions of Machine Operator I.
• 6 months of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Valid crane certification.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Frequent communication with others to exchange information.
• Frequent repetition of motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
• Frequent lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
• Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Constantly thinking and processing information.
• Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Manufacturing floor with machinery.
• Exposure to airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold.
• Use of personal protection equipment is required
