We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Floor Technician to join our facilities team. The Floor Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of various types of flooring in commercial or institutional buildings, ensuring a clean, safe, and professional environment.

Location: Denver CO and nearby cities
Shift: Open availability required
Requirements: Pass background check
Payrate: $20-23 Hourly  

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.   A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors using manual and powered cleaning equipment.
• Strip, wax, buff, and refinish hard surface floors.
• Shampoo and extract carpets using appropriate cleaning methods.
• Maintain cleanliness of baseboards, corners, and edges.
• Safely operate floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers, buffers, and extractors.
• Follow safety procedures and use proper signage to prevent accidents.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting any issues or needed repairs.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
• Collaborate with custodial and maintenance staff to ensure overall cleanliness.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in floor care or janitorial services is a requirement.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Work Environment:

• Physical work involving standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment noise.
