Description
As the senior designer for Verily, you will be working with more than one business to help create a holistic approach to all things Verily. Everything from interfacing with stakeholders and CEO’s, to working with agencies and contract designers, to building templates, decks and corporate websites/identities … there is no design or creative thinking skill that will not be used in this role. You’ll bring enthusiasm to everything from social channel overhauls to bite size video clips. You enjoy tackling everything from instructional product layouts, to packaging design, to cleaning up your Asana task list every day!
You will sit on the Verily Brand Studio—We help Verily build meaningful brands that support our teams, our users, and our partners. Our team is a subset of the central Verily Marcomms team and we work closely with the Marketing and Communication functions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee creative and brand strategy for Verily programs, building and refining our brands and execution on digital properties and other owned assets.
- Develop identities and brands from the ground up - through launch and commercialization.
- Manage and develop a creative tiger team to support strategy and deliver marketing creative assets, working closely with team leaders, Verily partners, and agency partners (e.g. digital campaigns, websites, videos, events, presentations, print materials, etc.).
- Work closely with other designers to help facilitate best practices and give appropriate design direction on specific projects and tasks to jr.designers.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:- BA/BS degree or relevant work experience in design, marketing, human computer-interaction, UX or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ of years of creative and marketing experience working with cross-discipline teams including developers, strategists, copywriters, photographers, designers, marketers, and product owners
- Proficient in current design and prototyping tools such as Figma, entire Adobe Suite, and the Google business suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Proficient in video production including: conceptualization, scripting, storyboarding, design, and editing. Both creative direction and hands on experience.
- Ability to project manage and work within Asana or equivalent project management software.
- Track record of effectively delivering large-scale projects in a fast-moving environment. Ability to influence at all levels and work effectively across functions and geographies.
- Startup mentality: ability to navigate ambiguity, willing to manage strategy as well as execute, and bring experience in building programs from the ground-up.
- Illustration skills are a bonus
- Field marketing and events experience
- Motion graphics knowledge/and or experience
he US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000 -157,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
