The Work You Will Do:
This is a highly technical position responsible for maximizing the availability of SUNCOM telecommunications services to Florida state agencies and other eligible users. Responsibilities include planning, procurement, contract execution, and ensuring contractor compliance associated with SUNCOM telecommunications services.
The role involves monitoring and ensuring compliance with a contract exceeding $50 million annually. Additionally, the position serves as a liaison between contractors and division staff.
Working hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Total hours in workweek 40.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
- Assist with the effective implementation of telecommunications contracts and assure proper performance of obligations by contractors.
- Provide assistance with contract budgets and procurement activities.
- Support the procurement process by developing Statements of Work, developing technical evaluation criteria, assisting with evaluation of vendor proposals, and guiding contract formulation, drafting, and negotiation.
- Implement quality assurance plans to provide a systematic and structured method to evaluate services and products.
- Assist in contract close out including the identification, documentation, and distribution of best practices and lessons learned.
- Develop appropriate documentation within the terms and conditions of the contracts in the event conflicts and/or problems arise, including cases of poor performance or non-compliance with contractual obligations.
- Cooperate in drafting required audit responses.
- Provide project management for procurement and contract activities.
- Work with division staff to develop timelines and project schedules for Requests for Information (RFI’s), Requests for Quotes (RFQ’s), Invitations to Bid (ITB’s), Requests for Proposal (RFP’s), and Invitations to Negotiate (ITN’s).
