Rate: $19.00-$22.00/HR

Available Schedule:

• Mon - Fri: 7AM - 3PM
• Thurs - Sun: 5:45AM - 1:45PM
• Mon - Fri: 7:30AM - 5:30PM
• Sat - Wed: 11AM - 8PM
• Tues - Sat: 2PM - 10PM
• Mon - Fri: 3PM - 9PM
• Mon - Thurs: 10PM - 6AM
• Wed - Sun: 10PM - 6AM
• Tues - Sat: 9PM - 5AM

Securitas Security is looking for security professionals to join our team in providing overall safety and security for our clients. These positions require a high level of patience, and ability to de-escalate situations in a calm and professional manner. Prior security experience is highly preferred but not required. 

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Conflict resolution and De-escalation.
• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written witness reports.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older. 
• High School Diploma or GED Required. 
• Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., cell phone).
• Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed - The ability to utilize a tablet, computer or smartphone.
• Customer service background preferred. 
• Security experience a plus.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift. 
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift. 
• Must be able to effectively write detailed reports.
• With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly.
• Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers.
• Required to utilize rapid and effective judgment in responding to unusual or emergency situations using appropriate escalation of force level.
• CPR, AED, and First aid certifications are a plus but are not needed for every site.
