Our products are more affordable and more sustainable than their dairy equivalents. </span><span> </span></p> <p> </p> <p> </p><p>Location: Wageningen, Netherlands</p> <p>On-site<br/><br/></p> <p><strong><span>About the position</span></strong><span> </span></p> <p>You will:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide technical project leadership to implement identified cost-saving opportunities in product design, production processes, and supply chain optimization projects.</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute value improvement strategies, continuously generating innovative ideas.</p> </li> <li> <p>Supervise pilot plant trials and lead full-scale factory trials to validate the feasibility of new solutions.</p> </li> <li> <p>Evaluate product functionality to ensure consumer needs are met while maintaining cost efficiency.</p> </li> <li> <p>Validate alternative suppliers for existing specifications.</p> </li> <li> <p>Update product and process specifications as required.</p> </li> <li> <p>Manage Value Creation projects, ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><span>So, what does it take to be successful in this role?<span> </span></span></strong></p> <p><span>You are a highly motivated professional with a Master’s degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, bringing relevant experience in the food industry (at least 3 years for a medior role or 5 years for a senior role). You have a proven track record of successfully delivering technical projects and are familiar with value analysis tools and methodologies. A true team player, you collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and approach challenges with a can-do mentality. You are solution-oriented, combining practical creativity with a strong drive to achieve high-quality results. Flexible, hands-on, and adaptable to a fast-changing environment, you demonstrate a proactive, disciplined, and eager-to-learn attitude.
