ABOUT THE JOB

As a Junior Project Manager / QA, a typical day will include working to organize and progress tasks for the Support team's Basic Maintenance and Security Clients. Additionally, an individual in this position will provide administrative and Quality Assurance (QA) support for Account Managers & Senior Project Managers.

Your daily responsibilities may include:

  • Setting up actionable teamwork tasks based on client needs.
  • Gathering all information necessary for the Dev team to complete the task, including answering any questions they may have for the client.
  • Assisting with client task reviews and incoming tickets to Identify and coordinate next steps for projects.
    • Ensuring any tasks created by the client or by the Jr. PM contain all the context needed to complete. These may include Screenshots, User Stories, Requirements, Acceptance Criteria, Steps to Recreate an Issue, Due Dates, Estimates, etc.
    • Gathering all information necessary for the team to complete the task, including answering any questions they may have for the client.
  • Engaging in timely communication with the client team via Teamwork and email.
  • Assisting with the escalation of issues and resolution with client teams and internal teams.
  • Identifying up-sell opportunities and looping in Project Managers when needed.
  • Auditing Sites for Needed Updates:
    • Running Site Health Checks Monthly
    • Conducting Quarterly Administrator Audits
  • Attending meetings as needed for note-taking and follow-up assistance.
  • Conducting internal budget analysis and updates.
  • Monitoring and triaging tickets from clients.
  • Assisting with content entry.
  • Carrying out client notifications and mass updates.
  • Assisting with sales documentation.
    • With guidance from PMs and AMs, creating change orders and scope of work documents for any new features or functionality not included in the project's scope.
    • Coordinating estimation and requirements documentation with the appropriate resources.
  • Quality Assurance Testing & Support
    • Thoroughly testing tasks, projects, and sites to ensure all items meet acceptance criteria. If not, detailing steps to replicate and resolve issues with documentation, links, recordings, screenshots, etc.
    • Utilizing browser and device emulators to simulate real device use case scenarios and test functionality.
  • Working with and collaborating with multiple Project Managers, clients, projects, Kanopi developers, and UX/UI resources.
  • Identifying issues - with clients, projects, or budgets - and notifying Project Managers / Account Managers so they may work through with teams and clients proactively.
  • Assisting with curating a backlog of work for each project, ensuring project teams have the precise information they need, working with clients to fill in any gaps, and prioritizing as needed.
  • Personally handling "quick win" WordPress or Drupal site configurations and content entry before escalating to the development team.
  • Expediting urgent requests or needs and prioritizing work accordingly.
  • Carefully monitoring budgets and timelines for some projects to ensure they are on budget and on time while keeping clients and Kanopi management informed.
  • Assisting with forecasting and resourcing appropriate Kanopi team members based on a project's needs, including front-end/back-end developers, UX strategists, and designers.
  • Demonstrating time management skills by staying on top of your workload and the workloads of your projects' team members.
  • Leading with a willingness to jump in on multiple projects and assist with tasks.
  • Knowing when to escalate situations to the attention of Management
  • Maintaining a calm demeanor when in stressful or high-pressure situations
  • Assisting in the overall process of making the company awesome by building repeatable patterns for success and happine
