About the role

  • This position is only open to CCO employees.
  • This is a part-time (8-10 hours weekly) position.
  • This position starts June 1 and ends July 31st
  • This position will compensate $2000 upon completion

Purpose of the position: 

  • The New Staff Training Coach exists to assist the CCO Department of Staff Development in leading and shepherding new staff during summer New Staff Training. Coaches help new staff to understand, internalize, and develop strategies for the implementation and application of New Staff Training curricula. This position begins in the weeks leading up to summer New Staff Training and concludes with the end of New Staff Training.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors Degree required.
  • Experience: 3+ years of CCO collegiate ministry experience; Leadership experience

Job Description:

  • Be present in person for all in-person training times to serve as training coaches for new staff.
  • Be present for all live virtual training sessions to serve as training coaches for new staff.
  • Prepare and present assigned training modules and content.
  • Cultivate a formational community with new staff using the rhythms and structures of New Ministry Staff Training, such as small group and individual coaching.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Staff Development staff.
