Job Description

We are currently looking for an IT SAP Application Manager to join our growing IT Finance Team! As IT SAP Application Manager, you will support the IT Manager, Financial Systems in the development, implementation, and administration of the organization's financial systems. You will research requirements and liaise across the company to ensure that systems are modified to meet the most recent business requirements, processes, and reporting standards, as well as the needs of key business users and finance colleagues. Functional accountability includes supporting the finance business units from financial systems standpoint. You will establish best practices for financial systems use and ensure these practices are used throughout the organization. Finance systems includes SAP ERP (S/4 HANA), Cloud based reporting systems, Consolidation tools, EDI platforms and Interfaces to banking and other third-party systems. As an IT SAP Application Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Play the role of SAP technical lead and follow SAP’s best practices of Functional Specification Design/Technical Design
• Manage custom developments to keep the clean core of HANA
• Ensure adherence to the coding standards, perform code reviews, ensure adequate documentation
• Manage technical resources from Brightspeed’s partners/ vendors
• Collaborate with functional leads from Finance, Materials, Supply Chain etc.
• Collaborate with key business stakeholders and business users
• Drive collaboration with middleware, engineering, and other IT teams for E2E technical solutions
• Coordinate with PMO to ensure delivery of critical project milestones
• Led technical teams, comprising of internal and external resources, across onsite and offshore locations
• Build integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems, including P2P and BI Reporting

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

• 10+ years of relevant SAP consulting or industry experience
• Experience in implementation of SAP systems; at least 3 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA
• Experience in integration of SAP HyperScaler with SaaS/ Cloud applications
• Experience in using various project management tools 
• Experience in technical project management
• Must have played technical lead role in multiple SAP implementation programs
• Hands on experience in technical coding in SAP S/4HANA (ABAP, UI5, etc.) for custom RICEFW developments
• Deep knowledge in HANA data modeling, HANA optimized coding, embedded analytics, Fiori App extensions
• Knowledge of integration of SAP S/4HANA with Ariba & Concur
• A team-oriented and collaborative attitude with the ability to foster cooperation
• Outstanding, proactive communication skills - written, verbal, presentations, and more
• Strong delivery focus - able to deliver against timelines, budget and achieve results
• Techno-Functional, with functional experience in the realm of finance, order-to-cash, and procurement
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make thoughtful, practical decisions
