WHY WE'RE HERE

We are seeking engineers to help us model novel killwebs in a government-owned simulator called the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE). Engineers in this role will primarily build developer infrastructure but will be expected to learn new technologies as necessary to solve our customer’s problem. In a typical sprint you might:

• Use Helm, Python, or Bash scripts to deploy government-built microservices in an ephemeral environment for other developers to test their code
• Configure CircleCI to test our code or build Docker containers
• Collaborate with cleared engineers to develop processes to ship Anduril-built simulations and metrics code from unclassified developer environments into classified, government-owned environments
• Meet with the customer to understand their requirements and demonstrate your code

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
• 2+ years of production-grade experience in a modern imperative programming language (C++, C#, Golang, Java, Python, Ruby)
• Ability to integrate with sparsely-documented 3rd party services
• Ability to quickly understand and navigate established code bases
• A desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
• Travel up to 30% of time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real world

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working in airgapped environments (without network connectivity)
• Experience maintaining developer infrastructure for CI/CD and hosting services
• Knowledge of defense technology and tactics, especially in the air domain

US Salary Range$138,000—$252,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
