JOB DESCRIPTION:  Quality Lead Technician

Job Summary

The Quality Lead Technician provides overall front-line leadership and support to the Quality Assurance Technicians.  They are directly involved in the production of the quality of the  injection and blowmold product with an advanced understanding of visual inspection techniques using various lab equipment and methods.  They have direct involvement in the Quality department and plant employee training and development.

Specific Responsibilities / Essential Functions

Fully involved with the local management team.  Provides technical input, solutions and direction  

      to improve and maintain the Quality systems in the plant.

Directly supervises the Quality Assurance technicians insuring a motivated, skilled workforce. 

Assesses skills and recommends or provides training to ensure department personnel are technically competent to perform at a high level.
