Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Lockport, New York on a full-time basis.

The Role

Join our Manufacturing Engineering Team, comprised of ten engineers, as a Braze Engineer supporting Condenser and ATOC production.

In this role, you will focus on improving manufacturing processes to reduce scrap, enhance in-process part quality management (iPPM), and minimize downtime across five Braze Ovens. Your expertise will play a crucial role in driving efficiency and quality in our production operations.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will provide mechanical support to enhance Braze Oven uptime and throughput. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring that products are brazed in accordance with Product Engineering Standards.

• Developing and implementing quality improvement projects to enhance overall process efficiency.

• Error-proofing processes to eliminate sources of defects or variations.

• Collaborating with Skilled Trades to troubleshoot and resolve any Braze Oven issues.

• Maintaining process documentation, including TISs, PMs, and PFMEAs.

• Identifying spare parts and supporting crib stock requests.

• Designing and improving braze hardware to optimize performance.

Additional Job Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or related field.

• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

• Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical controls.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• Experience in 3-D design using SolidWorks.

• Previous experience with brazing processes.

Compensation: The expected based compensation for this role is : $85,100.00 - $135,900.00 USD Annual.. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position. Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
