The Data and Decision Science division brings to the marketplace expertise in data science and technology, founded out of MIT. This team works on innovating at the intersection of analytics, healthcare, and software development. We are building THE data science-driven engine to help clients manage risk related to healthcare and insurance - empowering them to make optimal decisions to control costs and improve quality of care for their members. JOB SUMMARY: The Healthcare Analytics Advisor, supports the development of provider-focused analytical solutions. This role is responsible for conducting data analysis, generating insights, and assisting with the strategic initiatives to enhance employer and consulting service offerings. The position requires foundational knowledge of healthcare data analytics and employer benefit trends, with a focus on translating data into meaningful insights. JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Conduct data analysis to support provider and consulting initiatives, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
2. Assist in developing reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate analytical findings.
3. Support the Director in Provider and Consulting Services, in refining provider-based analytics strategies.
4. Contribute to monitoring product performance and assessing process improvements.
5. Work with internal teams to align provider analytics with broader company initiatives.
6. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain data security best practices.
7. Contribute to cross-functional projects, collaborating with teams across the organization to drive innovation and process improvement.
8. Demonstrate commitment to the company's core values and ensure high standards of quality and service.
9. Please note due to the exposure of PHI sensitive data -- this role is considered to be a High Risk Role. Qualifications JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training): * 2+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, provider analytics, or related field.
* Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
* Proficiency in data visualization tools, SQL, Python, R, or other analytics software.
* Prefer familiarity with healthcare claims data and provider analytics.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to translate technical findings into business insights.
* Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
* May require occasional travel. * Minimum Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Analytics, Public Health, Business, or a related field; or 4 years of experience related to healthcare analytics and/or employer consulting.
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $65K to $75K. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
