ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving Clerk, is responsible for maintaining inventory counts and quality control procedures for incoming and outgoing product shipments.
- Manage incoming deliveries to a warehouse or factory by verifying and signing for shipments.
- Check incoming shipments against product invoice.
- Move material around the plant efficiently and carefully by using a variety of handling tools such as carts, pallets jacks, and forklifts.
- Keep work space organized, stocked, and clean.
- Help other team members be successful.
- Ensure no damage items are received.
- Communicate effectively with internal manufacturing, supervisory, and support groups concerning materials and inventory.
- Process returns.
- Receive product in to inventory, organize the stock room, print labels, and kit product
- Issue materials for new sales orders/ work orders.
- Cycle count products.
- Adjust inventory as needed.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, reach intermittently, use hands and arms, stand, talk and hear.
- Lifting 50-60 pounds frequently.
- Use and operate mechanical tools and equipment common to the production floor.

- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and cleaning chemicals.
Training
- Operation of various computer programs associated with shipping/receiving.
- As required to update skills associated with new shipping/receiving procedures or contract requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
This position requires basic to intermediate knowledge of receiving procedures, and quality control procedures for incoming and product shipments. - Skill to communicate with employees in Production, Customer Service, and various outside shipping companies.
- To speak and understand direction from Supply Analyst III and perform given task.
- Read and interpret documents such as: safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Basic math skills.
- Familiarity with the use of power tools
