Job Summary:

Vail Resorts is looking for a Senior Analyst of Reporting and Data Enablement to join the Guest Analytics team!

 

The Reporting and Data Enablement team acts as subject matter experts and stewards of our guest data across the business. The team is at the center of driving and enabling our data-driven strategic initiatives and collaborates closely with our lines of business and go-to-market teams.

 

As a Senior Analyst of Reporting and Data Enablement, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to strategic initiatives that rely on our central data assets. You will act as a catalyst across our business, analytics, and IT teams to ensure that the right data is available and fit for purpose to drive accurate reporting and strategic insights across the enterprise. This role will have direct involvement with our Operational data, helping to build and maintain the reporting infrastructure to enable Operations-based Insights.

• The budgeted range starts at $103,596 - $129,000 + annual bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience
• Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time / Year Round

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and design of data and reporting assets that power decision-making across the Enterprise Analytics Organization
• Play a key role in cross-functional collaboration for technology and data initiatives
• Bring ambition, a problem-solving attitude, and clear articulation of vision to continue to evolve the technical proficiencies of the team
• Act as a subject matter expert across the domain of data usage and data visualization
• Lead and contribute to data governance best practices and documentation
• Lead by example across development paradigms, cross-functional communication, and team culture

 

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2-4 years previous experience in analytics or other similar field
• Detail oriented self-starter with a proven ability to deliver cross-functional solutions
• Deep expertise in SQL across a variety of platforms (SQL Server, Snowflake)
