Senior Producer, Content Production

We're seeking a Senior Producer to work in partnership with an integrated agency team dedicated to our Mondelez client. You will work in lock-step with the agency EP to execute various production types from full-up to social. Our ideal candidate will raise the bar creatively, ensuring we meet or exceed PXP's highest quality standards. We hope to find someone boasting the "je ne sais quoi" of success in production: a force of calm, good judgment, adaptability, and thriving in change. This Senior Producer should be experienced in managing concurrent projects and can independently prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. We can only consider candidates who deeply understand commercial advertising production and editorial Post.
By acting as a single point of contact with cross-functional partners, this role will curate the flow of information, establishing a unified voice for our client, account, and production partners. In doing so, we can ensure that projects stay organized, on-track, and that correspondence funnels through the proper channels.
Resource management is a crucial function of the Senior Producer. At PXP, this requires adaptability across various project-specific production roles through managing team bandwidth and vendor resources. The remit of this role will demand improvements in workflow efficiencies to ensure that each project utilizes the best talent available for each project. Our ideal candidate also has experience building and maintaining schedules integral at every step of the content production life cycle.

Day-to-day Responsibilities include:
- Creating bids, ballparks, and production schedules (including full-up through Post), with budgets ranging from $50K to $800K
- Having plentiful, good-standing relationships with production contacts in the industry
- Negotiating rates and contracts with vendors
- Demonstrating an ability to communicate and justify bid costs to clients and procurement
- Coordinating vendor payments
- Developing and managing production schedules
- Creating Pre-Production Books for client meetings
- Working with Business Affairs to develop estimates for SAG OCP, Extras, VO artists, session fees, travel, etc.
- Working knowledge of industry standards for union and non-union production
- Securing necessary insurance, releases, and contracts in advance of the assigned shoot
- Working cross-functionally with Business Affairs to create all talent and vendor contracts
- Overseeing on-set production, and interaction between agency and client teams
- Managing post-production schedules in conjunction with PXP Post-producers and timely delivery of all final assets (video, radio, stills)
- Tracking all assets for delivery to the client
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in New York
Up to 30% travel may be required for projects
Overtime may be required to deliver on client projects and deadlines
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years producing short-form content and photography for a creative or PR Agency.
- Nice-to-have skills include project management, live-action, VFX, CGI, animation, experiential, and platform partnerships (TikTok, Meta).
- Excellent written and verbal communicator, boasting an attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
- A keen eye for evaluating talent, presenting and reviewing talent with Creative Directors
- Dedication to sourcing under-represented talent
- Ability to pivot and adjust quickly in the face of creative changes, production limitations, or schedule adjustments.
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent organization and time management: able to prioritize a large volume of work effectively and efficiently with tight deadlines
- Knowledge of project management software a plus (Smartsheet)
- Working knowledge of photo/video equipment technologies and post-production tools
