Actuarial Sr. Consultant - Life Products Financial Reporting and Forecasting - Remote

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Sr. Consultant to join our Life Products Financial Reporting and Forecasting team. This position requires a deep understanding of actuarial principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively. The candidate will play a pivotal role on the team, where they will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating the results of life insurance forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
Mentor and provide guidance to junior actuarial staff.
Familiarity with and maintenance of actuarial models using ALFA, AXIS, or similar programs.
Utilize SQL and Tableau for data analysis and visualization to support decision-making processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Apply knowledge of Long-Term Disability Insurance (LTDI) to enhance forecasting accuracy.
Qualifications:
Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation is required.
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation or near-FSA status is preferred.
Proven experience in actuarial modeling, particularly with ALFA, AXIS, or similar programs.
Proficiency in Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Additional Information:
This position will be staffed at the G5 pay band.
The role offers the flexibility to work fully remote.
