Research Assistant I

Nemours Children's Health is looking for a Research Assistant I. The T Cell Immunology Lab at Nemours conducts original research on immunotherapy for cancer and allergic diseases. Funded by the National Institute of Health, the lab employs cutting edge concepts and techniques to identify drug targets, develop monoclonal antibodies, and engineer chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) for antibody- and T cell-based immunotherapies.
The Research Assistant I (lab technician) performs a range of experiments and data analysis under the direction of Lab Head or Research Associate; assists with the maintenance of and operations in the laboratory; assists in the preparation of grant proposals and manuscripts; and maintains both handwritten and computerized records of work performed.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in related field required
- At least one year of related experience
