This role will be based in San Francisco, Mountain View or Sunnyvale

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
We’re looking for a Strategic Finance Senior Manager to partner with our Chief Financial Officer on highly strategic topics. You will have a front seat to all strategic decisions across Strategic Finance, Global Workplace, and Finance Solutions & Controllership.
Being part of the G&A Strategic Finance leadership team will allow you to connect the dots across our company wide talent strategy and other implications on Finance and Workplace in particular. The G&A Strategic Finance team’s mission is to help the teams that run LinkedIn – Global Talent, Finance, Legal, and Comms – to support the business better.
We are seeking out a Strategic Finance leader with strong communication skills and high capacity to build trusted-advisor status and deep relationships across stakeholders. You will be responsible to examine and understand the CFO organization and look for opportunities to innovate and reduce costs and consider problems from a broad, multi-functional perspective. You will also need to guide a team on Strategic Planning & Annual Budgeting as well as Business Case Development & Investment Analysis.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Thinking
- Identifies new opportunities for growth within scope of responsibility and adjacent areas and drives strategy development with business partners.
- Ensures pressure testing of growth opportunities.
- Supports team members in operationalizing ideas and drives the development of plans for execution.
Stakeholder Influence
- Communicates implications of work (e.g., forecasts, analyses, trends) and necessary context to senior management and key stakeholders to drive action.
- Leverages insights, data, and internal/external trends to develop narratives to influence stakeholders across all levels of the business.
Execution & Organization
- Partners with cross-functional stakeholders and provides guidance to support the growth of initiatives by providing a metrics-oriented perspective.
- Anticipates obstacles and leverages expertise to recommend and drive implementation of solutions.
Performance Management
- Oversees team(s) responsible for supporting performance management by creating, maintaining, and updating models and forecasts.
- Oversees the development of hypotheses using identified signals, trends, and risks.
Culture & Values
- Leads a work team in alignment with the culture and values of the organization, including people development and diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 8 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of people management experience.
- 5+ years of experience in the technology industry
- Experience leading a Strategic Finance team
- Ideally supporting a CFO organization and managing Capex investments and the P&L impact of real estate decisions

The pay range for this role is $182,000 to $242,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
