Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, tenacious, accomplished software/SaaS Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our highly successful Global Business Development team, with a focus on the US Government Sector and selling the Questionmark Product. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside a highly collaborative sales team, sell a specialized platform into a prestigious and key market for the business, and collaborate cross-functionally throughout the organization to grow the pipeline and win new logo business.
The Job
The Business Development Manager (BDM) reports to the Vice President, US Business Development and works closely with the Marketing, Pre-Sales, Account Management and Professional Services teams. This job is remote and operates within a 40-hour work week.
The Work
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for increasing revenue within the assigned US/CAN market sectors by appealing to prospective customers and navigating them through the engagement, evaluation, and eventual adoption of Questionmark products and services.

Requirements
Role & Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager (“BDM”) will work independently and within a team to create and maintain successful engagements with prospective customers, appropriately position Questionmark products and solutions, navigate complex commercial sales processes and ultimately increase revenues within the assigned markets by achieving annual sales targets.
Applicants for this BDM position should be:
- Technically savvy
- Aggressively enthusiastic
- Capable of effectively presenting SaaS software and solutions through virtual web meetings primarily, however some face-to-face meetings, conferences, events and internal meetings will require travel.

Must-haves
- 5-7 years in software/SaaS sales
- BA/BS degree
- Experience selling cloud-based applications
- Experience navigating legal, security and procurement functions
- Training in solutions or custom
