Job Description

We are seeking a Business Data Analyst to support our Fortune 100 financial services client’s Market Foundation team, a core part of the Enterprise Acquisition Products and Platforms division within Enterprise Digital & Data Solutions, in creating world class digital experiences to drive increased acquisitions across the globe.  To drive acquisition growth, it is critical that customer onboarding journeys are built on flexible, modern platforms that allow for rapid response to regulatory risks or new requirements.

The Details:

• Location: Hybrid in Phoenix, AZ (3 days per week onsite required)

What you’ll do:

As a Business Data Analyst within our client’s Market Foundation team, you will manage the customer acquisition migration capability to a new, upgraded platform for international markets.  You will join a team of high performing and skilled digital capability architects, product managers, product owners, and technical team members.

• Track and analyze multiple customer data points throughout the credit card application journey for consumer and small business card applicants

• Perform data mapping:  understand data fields submitted by customer on the front end, and determine how to properly map customer data to other downstream systems (e.g., customer inserts and submits data; data then flows to various back-end systems for review by internal teams such as risk, customer relationship, data storage, fulfillment, etc.)
• Determine which data fields must be migrated from legacy platform to new, upgraded platform to ensure a seamless transition of customer application data.

• Prioritize development work and balance the requirements of multiple stakeholders through prioritized stories in the scrum backlog.
• Partner closely with engineering and design to continuously optimize the application acquisition experiences
• Partner closely with international stakeholders to understand the business needs and provide ongoing updates on key work in progress

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Data mapping experience, preferably with customer onboarding or card acquisition data.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work closely with Product Managers and other internal teams
• Polished, collaborative communication style

Preferred Qualifications:

• Financial services experience strongly preferred, preferably within the credit card space.

The pay range for this role is $50-55 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
