Logistics Operator- 1st shift

As a Logistics Operator you will be responsible for working in a team environment in supporting the materials operation of a refrigeration manufacturing organization.  This position will work in a climate controlled, manufacturing environment.  This position works Monday – Thursday, ten hours a day with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities include:

• Adhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate (PPE) Personal Protection Equipment
• Load/unload product
• Understand methods of locating materials
• Read a packing list and follow defined shipping/receiving protocols
• Ensure proper disposition of dunnage/recycling
• Be familiar with UOI’s/POI’s associated with materials
• Recommend improvements consistently striving for efficient and effective methodologies and maintain departmental quality standards
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
• Perform 5S
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified PIV Driver
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat.  This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time along with routine lifting of items that can weigh up to 35 pounds.*
