The Mission Systems, IMS Operations team is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering summer 2025 intern. This role in onsite, in Mountainhome, Pennsylvania.

What You Will Do:

• You will witness and document shop operations
• You will create detailed instructions of operations (process sheets)
• You will interface with shop floor personnel.

What You Will Learn:

• You will learn the experience of working within many shop operations.
• You will learn continuous improvement exercises and the value of them.
• You will learn the product creation process from drawing to end product.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Proficient knowledge using Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint.
• Good communication skills.
• Works well independently.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
