About the role

Performs a variety of clerical, office and administrative support of day-to-day Human Resources operations, as well as assist with employee events in and out of office. Position includes administrative and technical work to provide assistance to the Human Resources Director, i.e. file management, completing boarding and termination procedures, event planning, and general support of human resources procedures and practices that comply with applicable regulations and standards of personnel management. Conducts relationships and activities consistent with established Bank policies, procedures and systems, the Code of Conduct, Bank Secrecy Act, all other Central Bancompany policies, and all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations.



Assist with applicant tracking and pre-employment checks.

Assist with mandated procedures in employee management including boarding, transfers, and terminations.

Prepare informational packets and employee communications, i.e. calendar, welcome/new employee, benefits, etc.

Employee event preparation and facilitating, including retirements, employee appreciations, anniversaries, etc.

Prepare and maintain employee paperwork and files.

Assist employee committees (Training, Teller, CSR, Legendary Service, Dress Code, Best Practices, etc.) with communication, set-up, and preparation of training, and other needs of the committees.

Handle highly sensitive and confidential information.

Assist other departments as needed and director by supervisor.

Attend Job fairs and recruiting efforts.

Assist with Internships.

Prepare and maintain necessary written reports, records, correspondence, and other documentation.

Coordinate 45-day/6-month review process.

Provide administrative support under human resources guidance that will include multiple departments such as answering telephones, taking messages, file management, scheduling appointments and meetings, assisting with meeting preparation, update employee status log, process paperwork and accounting for casual days, and resolving and/or referring a range of administrative problems and inquiries.

Consistently demonstrate proficiency in providing exemplary customer service in person and by telephone.
Actively listen to employees, applicants and visitors and maintain a friendly, positive, professional attitude.
Resolve difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.

Establish, implement and maintain methods and procedures to ensure all personnel actions are processed correctly and timely.

Pre-screen candidates and set up interviews.

Utilize computer software applications such as applicant tracking, word processing, spreadsheet, digital camera, payroll, time and attendance.
A secondary reviewer of processed payroll and maintaining appropriate documentation.
Maintain neat and orderly work area and ensure that all confidential records are secured and/or disposed of properly.
Complete and attend all required training.
Assist others in the department as needed and/or directed.
May be assigned other duties and responsibilities.
May be assigned work or training at other assigned locations.

Qualifications

High school education or equivalent. Experience in general office related area. Previous experience in Human Resources, Business Admin, or related field is desired, but not required.
Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures including polished grammar, spelling, punctuation, business correspondence formats, record keeping and filing methods.
Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook preferred.
Must possess good judgment skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
Must be reliable, resilient, quick-study, willing to wear multiple hats, and able to drive.
Effective oral and written communication skills are required, as well as good with technology.
Ability to independently plan, prioritize, organize and complete work efficiently, while multi-tasking with consistent interruption.
Ability to work quickly and accurately.
Ability to operate technical office equipment including computers, telephones, copiers, projectors, laptops, cell phones, etc.
